I make videos myself, but I never have much time, and I still wanted reels that look good. I was never really ready to go and find an editor. Especially in my language, finding someone who is good and not too expensive was always hard.
So I found a way to let Claude do the whole edit for me. Cuts, captions, titles, sounds, in my style. My friends saw the results and were just as excited as I was, and all of them wanted to use it too.
That is why I turned it into AutoCut. Now everyone can use it.

What exactly is AutoCut?
An add-on for the Claude app that edits your talking-head videos for you: it cuts pauses and retakes, adds word-by-word captions, titles, zooms and sounds, in a style you pick or teach it. You film, Claude edits, you post.
I've never edited a video and I'm not techy. Will I manage?
Yes, that's who it's made for. You never touch a timeline or write prompts: you drop in your clip, tap a look and approve. The video course shows every click of the setup on screen.
What do I need?
A Mac or a Windows 10 / 11 PC, your phone to film, and a Claude Pro plan ($20 a month, paid to Anthropic, not to us). That's it. It doesn't run on an iPad or a phone.
How long does one reel take?
The first setup takes one evening. After that, about 5 minutes of your attention per reel: drop in the clip, approve the quick plan, check the draft.
Will my reels look like AI, or like everyone else's?
No. Nothing is generated: it's your face, your voice and your footage. Claude only does the editing, in the look you picked or taught it, so every reel looks like you.
Why not just use a free Claude skill?
A free skill gives you a prompt and a blank chat, and the rest is on you: tools to install, what to type, why the render broke. AutoCut installs what it needs by itself, shows every choice as a button on your own footage and checks every frame so text never covers your face or the Instagram buttons.
Are my videos private?
Yes. Everything runs on your own computer, in your own Claude. Your videos are never uploaded to us and we have no access to them.
What does it cost, and can I cancel?
AutoCut is a subscription: 19.99€ a month instead of 29.99€, or less when you pay for 3, 6 or 12 months at once – down to 9.99€ a month. Prices exclude payment processing fees and VAT (reverse charge, business customers only). Cancel anytime, no lock-in. Claude Pro is billed separately by Anthropic.
How do I pay?
Right here on the page: pick how long, tick the box and pay with your email address and card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The payment runs through our payment provider, so we never see your card details. Right after paying you get an email with your account, your license key and the download.
